Random Rant About My #BikeProblems:  I just noticed that yet another piece off of my bike fell off. I noticed it after I came home from work. The red reflector that was attached to the top of my handle bars was gone. This is the second time a piece from bike got loose and fell off. Beach cruising to fixed gearing!!

My First love was the beach cruiser. I enjoyed cruising down the streets with my hair blowing in the wind and looking cute while riding. Cruisers are the ultimate smooth ride, with big durable tires. I’ve never had any problems while my cruiser bike. The only thing  negative I have to say about beach cruisers is that they are sometimes too big and bulky to carry around and park. I never had to worry about it getting stolen, because beach cruisers aren’t really on bike thieves radar, because of its size and unique parts. Continue reading

“I Can Ride My Bike With No Hands”

I have finally mastered the art of being able to bike ride without my hands on the handle bars! On day last weekend while I was rushing on my way to work in the rain, I found and caught myself being balanced enough to where I could remove my hands while riding and use my legs to steer the bike. It was crazy, I was thinking “Whoa I’m really doing it”. When I used see people who rode past me without hands, I used to think “Wow they are so cool, I want to do that”. Me being able to do that came out of nowhere, I just remember raising my chest/upper-body straight while still being balanced and insync with the rhythm of motion. Continue reading
